Minimalist without coffee

It’s my day 2 without coffee, it feels refreshing 🙂 I used to have 3-5 cups of coffee a day, it gave me the buzz, making me feel efficient and powerful, but i could also feel the way it dries my skin, steals my calm and content. Without coffee, i use herbal tea or breakfast tea as a substitution, the good thing is i am in charge of my body energy now. When i am awake, i work, when i get tired, I can fall asleep any minute i put my head down, and sleep like a baby, even a quick power nap for 20-30′. My head is clearer when i work, and the calmness stays through out the day, no rushing hushing feeling and overtiring or overwhelming.

Think back to 3 days ago, and for over 10 years of relying on coffee to be awake and buzzing, i didn’t listen to my body, it was forced to work and become over tiring, over working and i need another cup of coffee to carry on and so the circle goes on and on.

I still love coffee and will certainly have an espresso or cappuccino when i visit Italy, or when i pass by an artisan coffee shop, but I will not rely on it to run my day like before, and this way i can be a healthy minimalist without troubles 🙂
